Brigitte holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Laboratory Science from the University of Costa Rica. Currently, she is conducting her dissertation on the study of microbial natural. Her research aims to study metabolites produced by dominant intestinal actinobacteria in Triatoma dimidiata and their relationship with antitrypanosomal activity.
