Industrial chemist with experience in chemical and biochemical analyses. After finishing his degree at the National University of Costa Rica (UNA), Miguel is pursuing a master’s degree in chemistry at the University of Costa Rica (UCR), specialising in the chemical profiling of actinomycetes to uncover novel natural products. He is interested in metabolomics, analytical chemistry, and biotechnology. By applying advanced analytical techniques, he aims to explore the specialised metabolism of actinomycetes to identify novel compounds with potential applications in industry.
