A research project that explores the specialised metabolism of Pseudonocardia strains from marine origin as a source of new antifungal metabolites with activity against Candida spp. Project affiliated with the Institute of Pharmaceutical Research (INIFAR) in collaboration with Professor Arlene Loría.

IQ is a molecular network-based chemical novelty index developed for prioritizing strains according to the probability of finding novel chemistry using molecular networks. IQ uses three key network metrics: Library match score (MQS) for annotated nodes, cosine values between annotated and unannotated nodes (COS), and the proportion of unannotated nodes.

A research project that integrates (meta)genomics and metabolomics to explore the potential of actinomycetes isolated from the rice root endosphere as biological control agents to improve crop health. Project in collaboration with Professor Max Chavarría from CIPRONA/CENIBiot, Professor Matt Hutchings from the John Innes Centre, and the Bio Laboratory of Pelón de la Bajura.
